In 2024, Aeromexico was recognized as the most punctual global airline, with 86.7% of its flights arriving on time, a notable increase of 9% from the previous year. Cirium’s CEO attributed this success to Aeromexico's company culture, new equipment investments, and its effective partnership with Mexico City International Airport, which ranked fourth in on-time performance. Saudia and Delta Air Lines followed in the rankings. Overall, the airline industry saw a 0.5% decline in on-time arrivals, impacted by software issues and adverse weather. Regional airlines like Safair and Oman Air outperformed many global airlines in punctuality.
